Job Description: Summary
A role with an international and fast-growing company based in western Germany. Ideally with a background in General Practice, Anaesthetics or Internal Medicine, you will be responsible for outsourced Phase 1 clinical studies, focusing on clinical pharmacology. Working in Medical Sciences within the Development division at the company’s HQ, you can expect a broad spectrum of tasks and challenges in a future-oriented company.

(CRP) Clinical Pharmacologist
Key aspects of the role
• responsibility for planning, conducting and monitoring of the pharmacodynamics and pharmacokinetics of Phase I clinical trials to current legal standards and guidelines
• close cooperation with colleagues in the R & D division
• close collaboration with regulatory authorise and CROs
• preparing clinical protocols, study reports etc
• providing high-quality evaluation and interpretation of clinical pharmacology data from clinical studies, including pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, safety and dose/concentration response
Experience
Clinical experience in General Practice, Anaesthetics or Internal Medicine is preferred and although not essential, ideally you will have gained experience at a CRO or within the pharmaceutical industry.

• Strong interest in the field of clinical pharmacology
• Clear, concise communication, verbal and written
• Good presentation skills
• A willingness to take a hands-on approach
• Fluency in English, German is also a strong asset
• Excellent knowledge of medical terminology in both German and English
• Excellent problem solving skills
• Good teamworking
• Good computer literacy
• Willingness to undertake occasional travel
Qualifications
All candidates must be medically qualified and fully EU or GMC registered. A post graduate medical qualification is preferred.
