Medical Director

A fantastic opportunity to join a growing Pharmaceutical company based in the Netherlands. My client is looking for a Medical Director for a global ophthalmology portfolio. You will lead a team of 14, implement strategy for Europe and globally whilst maintaining and developing key relationships with medical affairs and criticial KOL’s.

Key duties and responsibilities:-

• Team management of Medical Affairs functions – EMEA
• Medico-marketing involvement – publications, cross portfolio liaison
• Strategic development – identification of key drivers in the ophthalmology area
• Hands-on Medical Affairs – Important KOL interaction


Essential skills and experience:-


• Medical Doctor or Ophthamologist background
• Pharmaceutical, Biotech of CRO industry employment
• Ophthalmology exposure beneficial
• Man/Line Management experience

Salary: circa €130k + car allowance + bonus + stock options + benefits
