Global Specialty company is seeking a number of medical affairs professional to build out the medical affairs team in preparation for the launch of exciting first-in-class drug in the field of Haematology

The candidate will have
Personal responsibility for developing and executing the Medical Affairs strategic plan for launch of key product in the local country, including
o Identification of centers and KOLs
o Delivery of medical education plans and activities
o Gaining strategic insights into the medical/marketing plans for launch, through KOL relationships and activities such as local advisory boards / round tables / 1:1 meetings
o KOL mapping and development of KOL deployment plans
o Delivery of local scientific publications and communications
o Support for clinical development and local phase IV initiatives
o Management of the named patient compassionate supply programme, prior to approval
o Provide medical and scientific expertise and leadership for the Commercial organisation
o Approval of all Medical Affairs activities and medical-marketing materials
o Role in developing and implementing the regulatory, government and authority strategy with key relationships with the key governmental and medical bodies
• Leadership of the medical function at local affiliate level with line management responsibility for the medical science liaisons
• Through leadership position, maximize the brand value for market product portfolio in partnership with the MSL team and the marketing and sales departments
• Provide medical and scientific expertise and leadership for the Commercial organisation

Candidate Specification

The ideal candidate will be an experienced haematology/oncology medical affairs professional

Key requirements include:

• A Medical degree
• Broad and in-depth knowledge of the Oncology/Haematology area either through clinical practice, pharmaceutical roles or ideally both.
• Knowledge of relevant local health regulations
• Experience with phase IV clinical study management and conduct
• Documented academic track record
• Leadership and management experience from previous positions
• Proven relationship building skills with key opinion leaders
• Professional level in English, both in oral and in written communications
• Knowledge of commercialisation and business practices
• Knowledge of Regulatory Affairs and Drug Safety

• Applies entrepreneurial thinking and spirit in developing the brand
