Role
The Senior Medical Adviser will play a critical role providing medical leadership for the Business Unit.
The successful candidate will lead
the delivery of specific medical programmes and activities, ensuring
that medical plans are successfully implemented to achieve objectives.
The candidate will develop the European regulatory strategy that best supports commercial objectives whilst managing the European approval process. Working regionally across Europe with a strong and supportive internal cross-functional team you will deliver on shared objectives

The role will require strong collaborative skills and the desire to partner other functions to drive measurable business results.

Salary and role level will be determined by the successful candidates’ background and experience.


Candidate
An accomplished physician (with medical degree and currently GMC registered or equivalent) with a broad knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry / healthcare environment. The candidate must possess a high degree of medical credibility and be able to demonstrate the ability to support a team. A proven ability to function effectively in a complex changing environment as well as effectively leading in a matrix organisation is required.

The successful candidate must inspire and build trust among team members throughout Europe by demonstrating medical excellence. Strong interpersonal attributes are required as well as excellent communication / presentation skills.
