Medical Affairs Leader

One of the world’s leading healthcare companies, based in North-West London, are looking to recruit a pharmaceutical physician as Medical Leader.

Role responsibility and duties:

You will play a significant part in customer and brand co-ordination, providing clinical and scientific insight and KOL development. You will lead the Medical Affairs team and have responsibility for team productivity and development. Reporting to the Head of Medical Affairs, this role offers and excellent opportunity to become a pivotal member of the commercial team. Your further duties shall include:

- Development and co-ordination of scientific relationships with external customers
- Support of Brand strategy and objectives
- Leadership of the Medical Affairs team
- Promote UK influence in global and EU strategy
- Medical support for Pharmacovigilance and Regulatory activities
- Develop and co-ordinate the application of Clinical Advisory Boards

Candidate profile:

An experienced Pharmaceutical Physician, you will have a track record of success working as the interface between Medical information and Marketing/Sales teams. You should also possess the following attributes:

- Medical Doctor with GMC Registration
- Team-player with solid communication skills
- Pro-active in managing your work-load
- Prior experience in a Medical Affairs position
- A post-graduate qualification is desirable
- Experience of line management
- Proficient in the ABPI Code of Practice
